Privacy policy

1. Introduction

This page is run by Spray Equip Ltd, trading as Sprayequip, 51 High Street, Hāwera 4610, Taranaki. This policy explains what we do with the information you give us on this page. We handle personal information under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

2. Information we collect

When you enquire about the SprayScout or book a demo, we collect:

• What you give us: your name, mobile number, email address, your region, and the answers you choose in the form, including what you will mount the sprayer on, what you are spraying, how much land you cover and which setup you are leaning towards.

• Website data: the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and how you found this page.

• Cookies: small files that let us measure our advertising and remember your visit.

  
  

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

• Send you pricing, specifications and delivery times for the SprayScout.

• Call you back about your setup and answer your questions.

• Arrange a demo and work out the right tank and reel for your place.

• Measure our advertising, so we spend it where it works.

4. Who we share it with

We share your information with the tools and people who help us run this. We do not sell it.

• Our email, customer record and quoting software, and our website host.

• Rapid Spray, where a warranty or technical question needs the manufacturer, the agency that runs our advertising, and anyone the law requires us to tell.

  
  

5. Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us to:

• See it: ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.

• Correct it: tell us if anything is wrong and we will fix it.

• Delete it: ask us to remove your enquiry from our records.

• Stop the calls: tell us you would rather not hear from us, and we will stop.

• Complain: if you are not happy, contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

6. How we keep it safe

We keep your information in secure, password protected tools, and only the people working on your enquiry can see it. No system is perfect, but we take it seriously.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry for as long as we are talking with you about a sprayer, and then for as long as our legal and tax obligations require. After that we delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with a new date at the bottom.
